Contexte de travail

The CNRS UPR-9002 Molecular Virology Laboratory is located at the IUT Louis Pasteur in Schiltigheim. The doctoral student (M/F) will join the "WBE- Wastewater-based epidemiology" group under the supervision of Dr. Clémentine WALLET. The WBE group currently has 5 collaborators, including a doctoral student, a research engineer, and a technician. The group also welcomes master's and BUT interns. As part of the PEPR-WHAOU project, Sustainable City France 2030 (funded for 3 years) and with the support of the OBEPINE + platform, we will develop the detection and epidemiological monitoring of pathogenic viruses and bacteria responsible for sexually transmitted infections (STI). The objective will be to establish tools and indicators of the quality of life and health of residents by analyzing wastewater. We will develop identification tools adapted to each virus and bacteria.
