Screening of tRNAs for specific translational suppression of nonsense mutations in the CFTR gene
Work Context
This work is part of a project funded by the VLM association (Vaincre la Mucoviscidose), aiming to develop novel therapeutic strategies for treating patients carrying a nonsense mutation.
The candidate will join the Genomics, Structure, and Translation team (https://www.i2bc.paris-saclay.fr/equipe-genomics-structure-and-translation/), specializing in the study of eukaryotic translation fidelity mechanisms. The team is located within the Institute of Integrative Cell Biology (I2BC) based on the Orsay/Gif-sur-Yvette campus (http://www.i2bc.paris-saclay.fr/) at the heart of the Saclay plateau and the new Paris-Saclay University
