Job Description
Thesis Subject
The successful candidate will work within the UltiMatePV project, funded by the European Union, which aims to design advanced thin-film solar cells. They will contribute to the development of new samples through theoretical and/or experimental studies (fabrication and characterization), as part of a European project in collaboration with leading teams in the field.
Your Work Environment
The successful candidate will primarily work at UMR-IPVF. The IPVF Joint Research Unit (UMR 9006) focuses on advancing fundamental research in key competencies of the field and driving innovation in analytical techniques, processes, and devices relevant to the development of photovoltaic energy. It is a core component of the Institut Photovoltaïque d'Île-de-France (IPVF).
This project is part of the ERC Synergy Grant UltiMatePV, which brings together the CNRS team (C2N and UMR IPVF), led by Stéphane Collin, the German team led by Stefan Glunz (University of Freiburg/Fraunhofer ISE), and the Swiss team led by Christophe Ballif (EPFL/CSEM).
