Job Description

Thesis Subject

This doctoral research aims to examine how tools from computational linguistics and artificial intelligence can contribute to the design of more effective public health messages in response to misinformation. Drawing on previously identified factors of vulnerability to health-related misinformation, the project will develop and compare different communication strategies tailored to diverse contexts and audiences. These strategies will then be evaluated through experimental protocols involving participant panels, in order to measure their effects on comprehension, trust, adherence to health recommendations, and resistance to misleading content. Particular attention will be paid to populations most exposed or vulnerable to health-related misinformation. In this way, the doctoral research will contribute to research on scientific and health communication, to the experimental study of misinformation, and to the responsible development of artificial intelligence tools applied to public health challenges.
