Description of the thesis topic

The candidate will develop theoretical tools, EEG models, a multi-contact reconstruction card and digital simulations in accordance with those developed by the D. Holcman group. We will be using wavelets to analyze the EEG recorded on the brains of anesthetized patients. Collaboration is underway with several hospitals in Paris and in Cambridge, in the United Kingdom.
Data analysis and spectral analysis, wavelet theory, numerical simulations and algorithmic classification, computational biology and related sciences

Work Context

The Institute of Biology of the Ecole Normale Supérieure (IBENS) is a multidisciplinary research center in Biology. IBENS is a mixed ENS-CNRS-INSERM unit with over 300 staff members working 30 research teams, conveniently located in the Latin Quarter in downtown Paris.
