Job Description
Thesis Subject
Coaching in the digital age: New forms of coaching in sports activities
Your Work Environment
The PhD student will be jointly supervised by Manuel Schotté (Professor at the University of Lille and member of Clersé – UMR CNRS 8019) and Sarah Adbelnour (Senior Lecturer at Paris Dauphine University PSL and member of IRISSO – UMR CNRS INRA 7170-1427). The PhD student will benefit from the material and intellectual resources associated with membership of the Clersé laboratory (office and computer, funding for research trips, participation in seminars) and from a scientific environment characterised by the significance of labour-related issues (Clersé's second research area – out of three in total – focuses on this dimension). It brings together sociologists, economists and demographers, fostering an interdisciplinary approach. They will also benefit from membership of the Irisso laboratory (participation in seminars), which has a strong focus on changes in the world of work, the boundaries of wage labour and digital work. Supervision will take the form of regular working meetings (monthly in the first year, then bimonthly). These working meetings will be based on regular progress reports produced by the PhD student and will result in a systematic report.
