Description of the thesis topic
The aim is to understand how colloidal nanoparticles, bacteria and fluid flows interact to form aggregates and a hydrogel. The aim is to understand how the gel is structured and how, by modifying the structure on a microscopic scale, we can modify its macroscopic properties to optimize the gel's properties for medical or agri-food applications.
Work Context
The thesis work will be mainly experimental, in collaboration with a biologist of the I2BC laboratory and a researcher from AgroParisTech's SayFood laboratory. The candidate will be based at the FAST laboratory
Constraints and risks
There is no particular risk, no use of dangerous products or materials, and no particular constraints either.
