Job Description
Thesis Subject
- Dendrimer nanovectors for nucleic acid delivery via inhalation
The recruited person will undertake the following tasks: 1) Design and synthesis of dendrimer nanovectors ; 2) Characterization of dendrimer complexes with nucleic acids; 2) Evaluation of the delivry complexes for inhalation by Aerosol technology; 4) Analysis of the structure-activity relationship of dendrimers for nucleic acid delivery via inhalation.

Your Work Environment
The recruited person will work within the “Molecular Engineering and Functional Materials” department of the Interdisciplinary Center for Nanosciences of Marseille (CINaM) under the frame of the EU Horizon Europe Marie-Curie ITN project « ON-TRACT ». She/He will benefit from a favorable environment, and the CINaM laboratory has the necessary equipment to synthesize and evaluate dendrimers for nucleic acid delivery.
Constraints and risks
The constraints are related to the health and safety requirements for handling chemical and biochemical products. Chemistry and biology experiments will be carried out in a fully equipped and functional laboratory to ensure that these experiments can be conducted in complete safety.
