Job Description

Thesis Subject

Design a decentralized deep neural network routing protocol using Deep Q-Networks (DQN) for q-datagram forwarding in Satellite-Terrestrial Quantum Networks (STQNs). The objective is to minimize quantum memory decoherence while maximizing entanglement throughput, leveraging the principles of the quantum datagram Internet.

Your Work Environment

The PhD position will be jointly based at the Institut de Physique de Nice (INPHYNI) and the Laboratoire d'Informatique, Signaux et Systèmes de Sophia Antipolis (I3S). The doctoral candidate will work on software and networking aspects at I3S, as well as collect experimental data and validate results alongside the INPHYNI team, which manages the Côte d'Azur quantum network.
