The Role of the Actin Cytoskeleton in the Orientation of Cell Division in Plants
Your Work Environment
The student will work as part of the SICE (“Cellular and Endomembrane Signaling”) team at the Plant Reproduction and Development Laboratory (RPD, CNRS UMR 5667, Lyon); see https://www.ens-lyon.fr/RDP/signalisation-cellulaire-et-endomembranes/.
The selected doctoral student will be responsible for the co-design, implementation, and execution of experiments in the field of Arabidopsis molecular genetics and plant cell biology.
The doctoral student will conduct research in Arabidopsis thaliana molecular genetics, high-resolution microscopy, recombinant protein expression, and plant phenotyping. With technical, logistical, and conceptual support from the team, the doctoral student will work closely with the team's postdoctoral researchers and engineers to support their projects.
