Thesis Subject

Innovating in Territorial Foresight by Incorporating Long-Term Forest Landscape Dynamics in a Participatory Science Approach (Living Lab)

Your Work Environment

This PhD will be co-supervised by:
• Sylvain Burri (UMR Traces, Toulouse),
• Jérôme Buridant (UMR EDYSAN, Amiens),
• Raphaël Lachello (LARHRA UMR5190/GRESEC, Grenoble).
It will involve a broader monitoring and support group, including several participants from the FORESTT-HUB, as well as an ad hoc individual monitoring committee.
This research is part of the PEPR FORESTT program, which focuses on the resilience and adaptation of forest socio-ecological systems.

Constraints and risks

The PhD student will be affiliated with the TRACES laboratory but will be hosted within the UMR 7058 EDYSAN in Amiens, with regular travel to the Grenoble region and occasional trips to Toulouse.
The candidate will be required to conduct fieldwork sessions in forest environments.
