Description of the thesis topic
This project focuses on plant-pollinator interactions in the rural-urban gradient and pollination services in urban gardens. It will analyze plant and pollinator communities, the adaptation of a model species Viola arvensis and pollination services. Using a citizen science approach, the goal is to identify the levers favoring pollination for urban agriculture and to develop an off-the-wall laboratory for urban ecology.
Work Context
The PhD student will have working session in the field (in urban environnent). He.She will work on DNA extraction in the Genetic platform of the lab. HE/she will analyse data in statistical models (R).
