Controlling and understanding representations in state-space models of biological sequences
Your Work Environment
Projet de recherche interdisciplinaire mené à l'IPhT (UMR 3681, CEA/CNRS), à l'interface entre physique statistique, apprentissage automatique et biologie, portant sur les modèles d'espace d'états appliqués aux séquences biologiques (protéines, ARN). L'enjeu est de comprendre théoriquement comment ces modèles encodent les corrélations à longue portée et comment contrôler leurs représentations latentes. Thèse dirigée par Jorge Fernandez de Cossio Diaz et co-encadrée par Pierfrancesco Urbani (IPhT), dans le prolongement d'un stage de master effectué dans l'équipe.
