This unit is dedicated to studying the molecular and cellular foundations of anti-infectious defense using drosophila flies (Drosophila melanogaster and 12 other species spanning 40 million years of evolution) as well as Anopheles and Aedes mosquitoes.
The research engineer will join a team of 12 members and will be responsible for a screening project aimed at identifying novel antiviral compounds and characterizing their mode of action in the model organism Drosophila melanogaster.
This ambitious two-year project, funded by the Chinese company Infinitus, aims to explore innovative approaches in the field of antivirals. The position is available immediately and includes the supervision of an assistant engineer
