Missions
In the framework of a project financed by the ANR (NANOCAPIL), a 12-month contract for a CDD researcher is open to applications in the group Engineering of metallic nanoparticles of the LCC-CNRS UPR 8241 (Toulouse). The topic of the project is the application of poroux and coacervated nanomaterials for catalysis.
Activities
-Synthesis of nanomaterials
-Application in catalysis
-Bibliographic update
-Writing of the scientific articles and dissemination of results
Skills
- PhD in material sciences or heterogeneous catalysis
-Synthesis and characterization of new nanomaterials
-Skills in anaerobic and anhydrous Schlenk techniques and high-pressure equipment are an asset.
Work Context
The Coordination Chemistry Laboratory (LCC) is a CNRS own laboratory whose fundamental research activity focuses on the design and characterization of molecules or original polyatomic structures, often at the interfaces of coordination chemistry and heterochemistry with materials or biology. Five main axes structure the activity of the Laboratory: molecular synthesis, catalysis, the design of nano-objects, the study of the physical and chemical properties of these objects and materials and the design of molecules for therapeutic purposes.
Constraints and risks
The postdoctoral fellow will be located at Le Laboratoire de Chimie de Coordination in Toulouse, but may need to make short stays in partner laboratories.
