Job Description
Missions
The postdoctoral researcher will be responsible for developing operator-centered predictive control with force feedback for a collaborative robot, with the aim of reducing musculoskeletal disorders associated with physical human-robot interaction.
Activity
* Development of an original theoretical framework for force control of collaborative robots in physical interaction with a human.
* Review of the scientific literature and improvement of the approaches developed by the team.
* Implementation of the proposed method in C++ and/or Python.
* Experimental comparison with state-of-the-art methods, in particular reinforcement learning and Model Predictive Path Integral approaches.
* Validation in simulation, followed by experiments on a Panda collaborative robot in interaction with a human operator.
* Preparation and submission of an application to the Committee for the Protection of Persons at the beginning of the contract for experiments involving human subjects.
Your Profil
Skills
* Excellent proficiency in C++ and Python programming.
* Basic knowledge of machine learning and PyTorch; experience with GPU computing is a plus.
* Expertise in optimal control and nonlinear optimization.
* Practical proficiency in ROS (Robot Operating System) and robot control.
* Ability to work in English and to write scientific publications in this language.
