This post-doctorate is part of our research project dedicated to the measurement of charge mobility in organic semiconductors called “n-acene”. The main objectives are the development and the systemization of instrumental methodologies based on the characterization of components such as OFET, 4 points and Gated Van der Pauw.
The postdoctoral researcher will be in charge of the experimental work (manufacture of components, electrical measurements), the analysis and interpretation of the results and their oral and written presentations.


This project requires an important work of development and characterization of organic components such as field effect transistors (OFET). It will be based on solid knowledge in organic electronics and electronic characterization of components. The candidate has to master component manufacturing in clean room (deposition techniques such as vacuum evaporation, spin-coating) and characterization techniques of materials (Absorption, AFM,...) and electronic components (I-V, C-V).
The postdoctoral fellow will have to manage the design and production of the components. He (she) will have to plan, perform the characterization and interpret the results obtained to determine the reliable electronic and transport properties.


The candidate must have a doctorate in microelectronics or organic electronics. The ideal candidate for this project should demonstrate solid experience in component fabrication and characterization. Experience in component physics will be an asset. We are looking for a researcher who will be able to get involved in his project, experienced and highly motivated.
In addition, the candidate must be able to work independently as well as with other project members and collaborators depending on the progress of the project.

Work Context

The postdoctoral researcher will be part of the MPN team of the LAAS-CNRS Laboratory located in Toulouse.
This research work will be carried out within the laboratory's technological and characterization platform.
