Missions

The subject of this post-doctoral position will be the performance evaluation and optimisation of co-flows in data centers. The post-doctoral researcher will be develop and analyse models for the computation of the completion time of co-flows. Following this, algorithms for optimisation of the completion time will be develpped.

The work will be done in collaboration with Rachid Elazouzi (Prof., Univ. d'Avignon)

Activities

- Develop and analyse stochastic models for the completion time (secondary task)
- Develop software code for simulating co-flows (primary)
- Propose optimisation algorithms (principle or secondary)

Skills

The candidate must have PhD or equivalent in computer science or mathematics. A thesis on a subject related to allocation of resources in communication networks will be a plus.
