Missions

The research will focus on the self-assembly of bio-based copolymers with controlled architectures for the design of glyco-nanoparticles (solution) with corona of carbohydrate. This work aims to design new bio-based materials, mainly nano-organized systems based on glycopolymers, to develop new biopiles. From an experimental point of view, the original self-assembly properties of these copolymers (obtained by "click" chemistry) will be highlighted by radiation scattering techniques (light and synchrotron) correlated to imaging techniques. (TEM, SEM and AFM). This research project is part of CERMAV's major themes and is developed within the team "Self-assembly and physico-chemistry of glycopolymers" as part of a NanoFueCell ANR with DCM.

Activities

The candidate will be in charge of preparing nanoparticles obtained by self-assembly of biobased copolymers. These nanoparticles will be characterized by diffusion and imaging techniques. They will then be tested by the DCM for inclusion in biofuel devices
