Missions

Dr. Christopher Mueller's team is recruiting an assistant ingénieur to support basic immunology research on the interaction between immune cells and its microenvironment. The mission of the candidate (M/F) is to investigates the cellular mechanisms underlying lymph node and spleen development, including the differentiation of T-cell-associated mesenchymal cells.

Activités

In support of research projects in the laboratory, the candidate (M/F) will analyze mouse models by fluorescence microcopy and flow cytometry. The candidate will also manage the mice under study with the unit's zootechnicians. PCR genotyping may be required.

Compétences

A background in immunology is required. The candidate (M/F) must have good experience of microcopy techniques and flow cytometry, in particular the isolation of non-hematopoietic cells from secondary lymphoid organs. The candidate (M/F) will be dynamic and responsive, and enjoy working in a team. He/she will have good communication skills and be able to express yourself orally and in writing in English (level B1) and French (international team/collaboration, working with study protocols written in French and English). The candidate (M/F) must hold a Master's degree in immunology/cell biology or equivalent.

Contexte de travail

This position is available in Dr. Christopher Mueller's team “Immune-microenvironment interactions in health and disease” of the CNRS research laboratory UPR 3572. The work will be carried out under his supervision, and will include direct and frequent exchanges with post-docs from the team.

The team is well connected internationally and is part of the URI group and the EURIdoc program. It has numerous links with the industrial sector. The project is initially funded for 6 months.
