Missions
At the CNRS on the Futuroscope site, the Institut Pprime is recruiting a Researcher to work on experimental analysis of the wear of samples of different grades of graphite carbon on rheometers, on Rheological analyses of powders resulting from the wear of different grades of graphite carbon and on examination of the results.
Activities
The candidate's activities will be as follows:
-Development of testing protocols for graphite carbon samples on rheometers
-Formatting and interpretation of results
-Performed powder rheology tests to determine compressibility, fluidity, bulk flow stress, and wall sliding stress
-Wrote two articles, one on wear and the other on powder rheology.
Skills
The candidate must possess the following skills:
-Wear measurement techniques
-Use of rheometers
-Tribology and materials science
Work Context
To carry out this mission, the candidate will need to use two rheometers provided by the laboratory: one at the Futuroscope site in Chasseneuil du Poitou (86) and the other at the IUT in Angoulême (16).
