Missions

The candidate will contributes to the PLUMCOT project dealing with unsupervised identification of characters in TV series.

First, the candidate will finalize the TV series corpus: collection and manual annotation of dialogues transcripts.

Then, in collaboration with PIs, the candidate will develop new approaches for named entity detection and co-reference resolution in dialogues.

- development of new approaches for named entity detection and co-reference resolution adapted to dialogues

Skills

- master in computer sciences with expertise in at least one of natural language processing and machine learning
- skills in Python
- fluent in English

Work Context

The position is offered by the Spoken Language Processing group (TLP) of LIMSI lab.

It is part of the PLUMCOT collaboratiev project involving LIMSI and KIT (Germany).
