Fabrication of TEM compatible electrically contacted nanowires (NWs) and doing electrical and electro-optical characterization of contacted NWs. Then this would be followed by in-situ TEM either with off axis electron holography or 4D STEM.

- Sample preparation by cleanroom fabrication techniques, including optical and electron beam lithography.
- Current-voltage measurements and electro-optical characterization.
- Electrical in-situ TEM experiments, data treatment, and correlation of electrical and imaging results. The TEM part can be performed in collaboration (with the supervisor/other collaborators).

Background in solid-state physics and semiconductors, cleanroom fabrication, characterization of electrical and optical properties and transmission electron microscopy techniques.

Work Context

The postdoctoral researcher will integrate a multi-institute, multi-disciplinary research group, composed of researchers in Institut Neel (CNRS) and CEA Grenoble.

Constraints and risks

Chemical risks related to cleanroom work, electrical and optical risks related to electro-optical experiments.
