Missions

This postdoctoral project aims to design new chiral hypervalent iodine precatalysts and the evaluation of their potential for the stereoselective construction of heterocycles.

Activities

-Design and synthesis of new organoiodine precatalysts.
-Implementation and optimization of new hypervalent iodine-catalyzed enantioselective reactions.
-characterization of synthetic products by classical analytic methods.
-communication of the results.

Skills

-solid background in organic chemistry.
-Skills in asymmetric organocatalysis would be highly appreciated.
-to be a source of proposals, excellent communication skills.
-to be thorough.

Work Context

The postdoctoral studies will be completed at ICSN (CNRS, UPR2301) in Gif-sur-Yvette in the POWER team (photocatalysis and organocatalysis with efficient reactivity) led by Dr Géraldine Masson. This project is based on the recent know-how of the team in the field of hypervalent iodine organocatalysis.
