The laboratory's work is characterised by the search for dialogue between objects of study (at different scales), methods, instrumentation and the development of research prototypes (in the sense of software and IT tools, with a clear focus on open source developments).
The missions are part of the Stratigraph project, Knowledge Graphs for Stratigraphy (HORIZON-CL2-2024-HERITAGE-ECCCH-01-02 Innovative tools for documenting, interlinking and organising data), which brings together numerous European partners.
