Missions
As part of the international REREV project, the Centre de sociologie de l'innovation (I3- UMR9217) is hiring a postdoctoral researcher to work on transformations in research evaluation through the introduction of open data. Deadline for applications: 29 August 2025.
Remote interviews on 1 or 2 September. Start date: 1 October 2025 Application: send a CV, a cover letter and a maximum of 3 publications via the CNRS recruitment platform
This vacancy is part of ANR international funding for the REREV project, which brings together teams from 4 countries (Canada, France, Germany and the UK) working on the changes brought about by the production and use of open data in research evaluation. The person hired will carry out the French field study on the users of this data in higher education and research establishments. This case study will answer questions such as: what types of data are used by institutions and for what purposes? Have they changed their practices with the advent of open data? Are there differences between disciplines? Have they adopted positions on open science, are they signatories to the Open Research Information declaration and how does this define their research evaluation practices?
Activités
A campaign of 50 interviews in 10 higher education and research institutions is planned within the framework of the project per country. The person hired will participate in the choice of institutions, carry out the interviews and analyse them, all as part of a comparative approach between the 4 countries concerned. This analysis will be complemented by an interview campaign with experts in research evaluation policies.
