Missions
The goal of this fellow will consist in developing cross-coupling reactions of carboxylic acid derivatives such as esters or amides using original nickel catalysts. In addition, mechanistic studies will be carried out in order to study the different elementary steps of the catalytic cycle.

Contexte de travail
The post-doctoral student (M/F) will be integrated into the LCM (UMR 9168) at the Ecole Polytechnique, a unit which has around 35 people. The researchs developed in this laboratory focus on the relation between the molecule and transition metal and concern the reactivity of coordination complexes and their use in catalysis. All aspects, from the most fundamental to the most applied, are concerned. Part of the laboratory's research programs are carried out in collaboration with international academic groups (Germany, Holland, United Kingdom, USA, etc.). The laboratory benefits from the advantages of the Ecole Polytechnique campus, in the plateau de Saclay, renowned for its scientific excellence, and therefore offers a pleasant working environment.
