Job Description
Missions
Participate in a research project studying the cellular factors regulating the establishment of infection and transcription of the hepatitis B virus (HBV).
Activity
Culture of primary cells and cell lines in the L2 and L3 laboratories, virology activities (production of viral stocks, cell infection) and molecular biology activities (DNA and RNA extraction, RT-qPCR, PCR, transcriptome analysis by RNAseq, ChIPseq). The person will independently conduct molecular and cellular virology experiments, while interacting with the group involved in the project.
Your Profil
Skills
The candidate must have experience in virology, particularly in general cellular and molecular virology techniques, including the handling of viruses such as HBV. He/she must be able to work rigorously, have a certain degree of autonomy, and also be able to collaborate/communicate/interact with other team members.
Your Work Environment
The recruitment is part of a project aimed at better understanding the mechanisms involved in viral persistence (hepatitis B virus - HBV). The candidate will be responsible for carrying out a research project in the field of molecular and cellular virology aimed at studying the cellular factors involved in the regulation of viral persistence. The IGH is located on the Arnaud de Villeneuve campus, which is part of the Pro-Bike Employer Program.
