Missions
The researcher will do a research project on the role of HSP90/R2TP system, an important chaperone system. PIH1D1, one subunit of R2TP can recognize its substrates via a DSDD/E motif that is phosphorylated. The aim of the thesis is to know which substrates are using such a domain and to understand how this interaction can regulate and affect the assembly of complexes. Specific inhibitors of R2TP and HSP90 will be used to evaluate the role of the different subunits of R2TP in complex assembly. The student will conduct a projct that is co-financed by Occitanie Region.

Contexte de travail
A CDD is available in the Edouard Bertrand's team "Cellular Biology of RNA" at Institut of Human Genetic (IGH). IGH is located in Montpellier and it is composed of 24 teams mainly working in fundamental research in Genetic and Molecular Biology. The team of Edouard Bertrand is working on transcription regulation and RNA and protein complex assembly as well as the RNA transport in human cells. IGH is on the Arnaud de Villeneuve campus that is in the program "Objectif Employeur Pro-vélo".
