Job Description
Missions
The candidate will participate as a postdoctoral researcher in a collaborative research project on the topic of neuromorphic photonics using organic materials.
Activity
Research activities include:
- Design and modeling of integrated photonic components using electromagnetic simulation tools (FDTD).
- Fabrication of components in a cleanroom.
- Implementation of the photonic experimental setup, as well as experimental measurements and data analysis.
Your Profil
Skills
The candidate must possess the following skills:
- strong skills in physics, optics, photonics, and electromagnetism (PhD level).
- cleanroom nanofabrication skills.
- experimental techniques in optics and optoelectronics.
- ability to work in a team within a collaborative project.
Your Work Environment
The position is based at the C2N (Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology), a joint research unit of Université Paris-Saclay and the CNRS in Palaiseau. The researcher will work in the TONIQ team (Photonics Department) under the supervision of Sylvain Barbay.
