Missions

Theoretical work in relation with on-going particle physics experiments

Activities

The postdoc researcher will work on theoretical and phenomenological aspects of particle physics. The proposed subject is related to theoretical computations of strong and/or weak interaction related to CP violation phenomena, B meson decays, and search of signal for physics beyond the SM in on-going experiments (e.g. LHCb, Belle II, etc).

Skills

Expected to demonstrate a capability for independent research in highly competitive field of particle physics.

Work Context

Laboratoire de l'Accélérateur Linéaire is (LAL), a research laboratory with 300 of staffs located on the Orsay campus (91) whose scientific activity, mainly international, is centered in particle and astroparticle physics as well as construction of accelerators and detectors.

The successful candidate will work in the group of theoretical physics research under the responsibility of the coordinator of the project, in close relation with Belle II, LHCb and ILC groups of the laboratory.
