Missions

2 postdoctoral/invited researcher positions in Geometric Group Theory,
at the Department of Mathematics of École normale supérieure (DMA, ENS), Paris.

Activities

Research in group theory. No obligatory teaching load. The posdoctoral fellow is expected to participate in the life of the department of Mathematics and in the organisation of group theory seminar.

Skills

For holders of a Ph.D in mathematics obtained before September, 2023.
For one of these two positions: preference is given for candidates with strong background in Poisson boundaries for random walks on groups.

Work Context

ENS is located in the Latin quarter in the historic center of Paris, and
within walking distance from University of Paris (Jussieu), Henri Poincaré
Institute and College de France.
