Contexte de travail

UMR 8523 PhLAM (Physics of Lasers, Atoms, and Molecules; CNRS – University of Lille) comprises approximately 180 members and conducts research on light–matter interactions, structured around five main thematic areas: Photonics, Quantum Systems, Dynamics of Complex Systems, Molecular Physics at Interfaces, and Theoretical Molecular Physicochemistry.
Within the molecular physics activities, the ANATRAC research group (Trace Analysis, 12 members) has achieved international recognition in two-step laser mass spectrometry (L2MS) and its applications in environmental science, space sciences, and biology/medicine. The international visibility of these activities has led to support from several European, national, and regional projects, with current involvement in 4 ANR projects, 2 CPER projects, 1 CDP project, as well as the PEPR “Origins” program (targeted project µL2-HRMS).
As part of the CPER and PEPR projects, the installation of two new instruments (Orbitrap and timsTOF) has recently been completed. These acquisitions complement an already extensive instrumentation platform.
The position is primarily based in Lille (Villeneuve d'Ascq, Cité Scientifique Campus), with occasional assignments in the Paris region (in collaboration with INRAE Saclay). The successful candidate will work within a team of 6 permanent staff members and 5 non-permanent researchers at the PhLAM Laboratory. They will also collaborate with other teams on campus, in particular the PC2A Laboratory (UMR 8522) and the Chevreul Institute (for shared access to a SIMS instrument).

Le poste se situe dans un secteur relevant de la protection du potentiel scientifique et technique (PPST), et nécessite donc, conformément à la réglementation, que votre arrivée soit autorisée par l'autorité compétente du MESR.

Contraintes et risques

Work involving lasers; specific training will be provided at the start of the contract.
