Missions
Develop, fabricate, and validate microsystems for the controlled orientation of micro-cameras integrated into endoscopes.
Design and optimize soft micro-actuators based on Electroactive Conductive Polymers (ECPs).
Perform multiphysics modeling and simulations of the microsystems.
Carry out microfabrication and integration of microsystems in a cleanroom environment.
Characterize prototypes electro-mechanically and under various environmental conditions (temperature, humidity).
Participate in functional testing and experimental validation, including with medical partners.
Contribute to scientific output: publications, presentations, and patents.
Activités
Design and modeling: multiphysics modeling of micro-actuators and the complete system to optimize performance and precision.
Microfabrication: use of micro- and nano-structured technologies on flexible substrates.
Integration: assembly of micro-cameras and micro-actuators into active endoscope prototypes.
Characterization: electro-mechanical testing, performance measurements, and environmental condition trials.
Interdisciplinary collaboration: interactions with biomedical teams and international academic partners.
Scientific dissemination: writing articles, presenting at conferences, and participating in technology transfer and patenting activities.
Compétences
PhD in mechatronics, micro-/nano-technologies, MEMS, soft robotics, or related fields.
Experience in microfabrication and/or design of miniaturized electromechanical systems.
Skills in modeling, multiphysics simulation, and experimentation.
Strong interest in biomedical applications.
Ability to work in a team within an interdisciplinary and collaborative environment.
Autonomy, scientific rigor, and ability to disseminate results (publications, patents).
Contexte de travail
Postdoctoral position for 24 months, funded by the ANR, within the MICROSCOPIC project.
Environment: Institut d'Électronique, de Microélectronique et de Nanotechnologies (IEMN – UPHF, Valenciennes), with access to a cleanroom and state-of-the-art micro/nanofabrication facilities.
Collaboration with researchers and experts in micro-technologies, mechatronics, and biomedical applications.
Occasional travel may be required to the IEMN site in Villeneuve-d'Ascq.
