Job Description
Missions
The objective of this project is to experimentally realize acoustic analogues of quantum phenomena based on self-propelled acoustic sources.
Activity
* Microfabrication of encapsulated bubbles
* Study of their vibrational modes
* Experimental characterization of their motion
* Modeling of their nonlinear dynamics
* Preparation of the results for publication in a scientific article

Skills
* Experimental fluid mechanics
* Vibrometry and Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV)
* Data analysis
* Expertise in fluid mechanics and acoustics
Your Work Environment
This research will be carried out within the FILMS group at IEMN, under the supervision of Prof. Michael Baudoin and Dr. Sarah Cleve. The project will benefit from IEMN's outstanding facilities for microfabrication and acoustic characterization, as well as its state-of-the-art ultrafast imaging equipment.
