The CDD researcher will be part of the NBI team at the IEMN in charge of developing magnetic nanoparticles modified with ligands for useful virus analysis. He will work under the supervision of Sabine Szunerits in the framework of the CorDial-S project aimed at developing a rapid diagnosis for COVID -19.


The researcher will contribute in particular to different aspects :

- Modification of magnetic nanoparticles with gradient ligands
- Integration of gold nanoparticles
- Characterisation and testing for various sensors
- Data analysis and analysis of clinical samples
- Publications


recent thesis in the field of nanostructure synthesis and modelling of plasmonic responses
fluency in English and French, both written and spoken
ability to work in a team on multidisciplinary projects

Work Context

The IEMN is a multidisciplinary laboratory located on several sites in the Lille conurbation and in Valenciennes. It has 170 researchers, 80 engineers and 140 PhD students. The Nanobiointerface group that the successful candidate will join is located on the CNRS Haute Borne Campus (IRI building).
