Missions

The successful candidate will be responsible for
-Development and use of a portable SPR
-surface modification with nanobodies for Covid-19
-detection with clinical samples

Activities

- optimise Covid-19 detection performance
- to produce modified nanostructures with nanobodies
- publish one or more individual articles or patent applications
It is expected that the data obtained will ultimately allow a 20-minute analysis of the clinical samples.

Skills

recent thesis in the field of nanoparticles and their modification
fluency in English and French, both written and spoken
ability to work in a team on multidisciplinary projects

Work Context

The IEMN is a multidisciplinary laboratory located on several sites in the Lille conurbation and in Valenciennes. It has 170 researchers, 80 engineers and 140 PhD students. The Nanobiointerface group that the successful candidate will join is located on the CNRS Haute Borne Campus (IRI building).

Constraints and risks

Short trips to Ireland and Israel are to be expected.
