Job Description
Missions
As a postdoctoral researcher studying the proximity effects of superconductivity and ferromagnetism, your work involves investigating the coexistence of superconducting and ferromagnetic materials in the presence of magnetic textures (domain walls, vortices, skyrmions, etc.)
Activity
- Develop multilayers based on superconducting and ferromagnetic metals
- Study and characterize magnetic and superconducting properties (SQUID magnetometry, low-temperature electronic transport)
- Study magnetic domains using magnetic force microscopy
-Correlate the coexistence of superconductivity and ferromagnetism with magnetic domains
- Synthesize scientific results and present them in the form of publications in peer-reviewed international journals and at conferences.
Your Profil
Skills
- Growth of magnetic multilayers
- Electronic transport under magnetic fields and at low temperatures
- Magnetic force microscopy
- Basic knowledge of solid-state physics with a specialization in magnetism or superconductivity
- Writing scientific articles
Your Work Environment
This work is part of the Superspin project, which is one of the projects funded by the PEPR Spin program. It brings together researchers from the IJL (Nancy), LPS (Paris-Saclay), LAF (Paris-Saclay), Spintec (Grenoble), PhELISQ (Grenoble), and CINAM (Marseille).
