Job Description
Missions
The post-doctoral researcher will be part of the "Gene Regulation and Adaptative Behavior" team headed by François Tronche and Sébastien Parnaudeau. He/she will develop a project centered on microglia in relation to stress-related behavioral and cognitive adaptations. The specific aims are to identify glucocorticoid receptor-dependent molecular and functional changes occurring in microglia upon stress exposure.
Activity
The post-doctotoral fellow will work full time. He/she will develop the project and thus should be familiar with relevant literature. He/she should be well organized to plan, execute and interpret the experiments. He/she will present her progress at laboratory meetings. He/she will also collaborate with closely related projects in the team.
Your Profil
Skills
The applicant should have obtained a doctorate degree in the Neuroscience field, preferably with good knowledge in the field of mouse behavior or microglia. The applicant should have publication(s) in related fields.
The applicant should have communication skills and integrate easily in the team.
Your Work Environment
Our team is composed of 22 persons and is part of Center of Neuroscience of the Institute of Biology Paris Seine. The laboratory is affiliated to CNRS, INSERM and Sorbonne Université.
The candiate will also work with our collaborators in the project.
