Identify the genomic and mechanistic foundations of phage–vibrio interaction


- Analyze the dynamics of infection (i.e. adsorption rate, latency time, burst size, and rowth rate of the phage) in different conditions
- Explore trade off of phage resistance
- mutagenesis of both vibrio and phage


The funding for this position requires that the candidate have a PhD in microbiology
- Experience in molecular biology
- Experience in phage and bacteria culture
- Rigourous with a sense of organisation
- Good knowledge of the moleculat determinism of phage-bactreia interaction and coevolution

Work Context

The person contracted to this position will be employed in the context of ANR grant, coordinated by Frédérique Le Roux, head of the genomic of vibrio team within the Laboratory for Intégrative Biology of Marine Models (LBI2M -UMR8227) in Roscoff (France)
The project focuses on the the evolution of phage resistance in environmental vibrios.
