Contexte de travail
PEPR RISQUES (Integrated Risks Management for more resilient societies at the global changes era) is a Research program financed by the 4th programme d'avenir (PIA4) from France 2030. Its aim is to bring together teams involved in research on natural and technological risks. The program is co-piloted by the CNRS, the BRGM and UGA, and implemented in focus and open projects.
This postdoctoral position is linked to the focus project RISC (Risks and Societies in global environmental changes era: challenges, knowledge and politics). This project aims to contribute to answer to challenges of the exponential growth of risks and disasters linked to the combination of the impacts of climate change with human activities and their connection with major risks already present from many years. Works in this project have the ambition to analyze current methods of managing risks and disasters, to develop a new analysis and management framework to better deal with risks and multiple vulnerabilities, and to build inclusive governance mechanisms for a sustainable reduction of risks and disasters as well as to structure an interdisciplinary and international SHS community on risks and disasters.
