Missions
The candidate will be responsible for synthesising and characterising new nucleosides with bioorthogonal motifs that enable post-functionalisation with fluorogenic probes.
Activités
- The project aims to develop innovative functionalizations of nucleosides and oligonucleotides that will ultimately enable the chemical functionalization of these compounds in a cellular context. - Part of the project will be devoted to developing synthetic access to nucleosides functionalised with bioorthogonal motifs allowing post-functionalisation with innovative fluorogenic probes, which will also need to be prepared. - Once the strategy has been validated at the monomer level, it will be implemented at the oligonucleotide level. - The candidate will be responsible for the organic synthesis of modified nucleosides, their characterisation and establishing their conditions of use.
Compétences
- Very good knowledge of organic chemistry and training in synthetic chemistry
- Interest in the chemistry-biology interface and chemistry for living organisms
- Keeps up with the literature, enjoys multidisciplinary work
- Organised, independent, good communication skills, team player
