Missions

The postdoctoral researcher will develop new enantioselective cycloadditions involving 2-pyrones and will study the functionalization of the cycloadducts resulting from these new reactions to access polycyclic molecules of interest.

Activities

Organic synthesis, asymmetric catalysis

Skills

Solid experience in organic synthesis and asymmetric synthesis is expected, as well as in the characterization of organic molecules. The candidate must speak English.

Work Context

The researcher will interact directly with their supervisor (Dr. Aurélien DE LA TORRE) in the MSMT team (which will soon join the Organic Chemistry axis) at ICMMO, as well as with the entire team on a daily basis. They will regularly present their work at group meetings.
All the equipment necessary for the synthesis, purification, and characterization of molecules is available at ICMMO.

The position is located in a sector under the protection of scientific and technical potential (PPST), and therefore requires, in accordance with the regulations, that your arrival is authorized by the competent authority of the MESR.
