Job Description
Missions
The main objective will be to develop functional cellulose for use in food packaging.
Activity
- Conduct experiments on the chemical modification of cellulose
- Analyze the resulting products
- Write scientific papers
- Present findings at conferences
Your Profil
Skills
Required Education: Ph.D. in Chemistry
A strong background in synthetic chemistry, particularly in polysaccharide chemistry, is preferred.
Your Work Environment
The work will take place at the UCCS (Catalysis and Solid-State Chemistry Unit) in Villeneuve d'Ascq, in Building C3, as part of the CADICOM team (https://uccs.univ-lille.fr/equipes-de-recherche/cadiscom). The team's research focuses on organic and macromolecular chemistry in support of various research projects aimed at developing environmentally friendly reactions, molecules, and polymers.
