Missions
The postdoctoral researcher will be responsible for optimizing a bioproduction protocol and the multimodal characterization of extracellular vesicles.
Activités
As part of the PEPR program Biotherapies and Bioproduction of Innovative Therapies (BBTI), within the STROMAEV project, the agent will be responsible for developing a bioproduction protocol in a bioreactor (upstream) for extracellular vesicles derived from mesenchymal stromal cells generated from iPS cells, as well as downstream processes for the separation, concentration, and multimodal characterization (quality control) of cellular secretomes. Various bioproduction conditions will be assessed to optimize the immunomodulatory and regenerative properties of the produced extracellular vesicles.
Compétences
PhD. Experience in biotherapies or bioproduction desired
Contexte de travail
The new multidisciplinary unit NABI (Nanomedicine, Extracellular Biology, Integratome, and Health Innovations), located on the Saint Germain Campus of Université Paris Cité (45 rue des Saints Pères, 75006 Paris), was established on January 1, 2025. It brings together around 75 collaborators—physicists, biologists, pharmacists, engineers, and physicians—including about thirty permanent staff members, under the joint supervision of CNRS, INSERM, and Université Paris Cité.
NABI's scientific objectives are to develop new therapies based on biological (extracellular vesicles) or synthetic (activatable metallic nanoparticles) nano-objects for the targeted delivery of personalized treatments for hard-to-treat diseases. The study of nano-objects in biological fluids requires transdisciplinary approaches (physics, engineering, cellular and molecular biology, immunology, etc.) extending to clinical practice, along with dedicated technical and analytical tools (super-resolution microscopy, nanosensors, microfluidics, etc.), as well as systematic multimodal and multiscale exploration, with analysis relying on artificial intelligence.
These innovative methodologies are being developed within NABI and the industrial integrator IVETh, a technology hub dedicated to the characterization, bioproduction, and engineering of extracellular vesicles and nanovectors for diagnostics and personalized therapies.
The agent will join the multidisciplinary "Nanobiotherapies" team as part of the PEPR STROMAEV project.
