Job Description

Missions

The successful candidate will contribute to the development and valorization of technologies for the loading, production, and characterization of enhanced extracellular vesicles (EVs) intended for therapeutic applications. They will also have a technical sales role, under the supervision of the Head of Marketing and Business Development, with the aim of increasing the visibility of the technology portfolio, developing partnerships, and contributing to communication, training, and technology valorization activities, particularly in collaboration with the spin-off company Exosiris.

Activity

Activity 1: Scientific and Technological Development of Enhanced Extracellular Vesicles (EVs)
Contribute to the development of EVs loaded with therapeutic cargoes, particularly proteins and messenger RNAs (mRNAs).
Contribute to the molecular engineering of producer cells to design EVs enriched in active cargo, with reproducible properties and suitable for scale-up.
Contribute to the development of technologies for the hybridization of EVs with lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) loaded with mRNA.
Contribute to the development and optimization of innovative microfluidic technologies in collaboration with academic and industrial partners.
Contribute to the development of next-generation nanovectors, particularly for mRNA delivery applications and the in situ generation of CAR-T cells, in the fields of oncology and autoimmune diseases.
Activity 2: Technical Sales Development and Communication

Under the supervision of the Head of Marketing and Business Development, the successful candidate will contribute to the development and promotion of the technology portfolio:

Contribute to the production of physical and digital communication and training materials.
Develop communication tools, including posters, banners, videos, presentations, and pitch decks.
Contribute to the production of content designed to facilitate and strengthen interactions with partners.
Contribute to the development of training programs focused on the team's technologies and expertise.
Contribute to enhancing the regional, national, and international visibility of the team's activities.
Participate in scientific and technological congresses, conferences, and events.
Coordinate and facilitate scientific and technological interactions with the spin-off company Exosiris.
Activity 3: Scientific Valorization, Technology Monitoring, and Project Coordination
Coordinate interactions with academic and industrial partners and the spin-off company.
Contribute to the transfer of knowledge and expertise.
Participate in the organization and delivery of training activities.
Coordinate selected communication, technology valorization, and technological development activities

Skills

Knowledge / Expertise
Knowledge of bioproduction and biotechnology.
Knowledge of cell biology, extracellular vesicles (EVs), and lipid nanoparticles (LNPs).
Knowledge of therapeutic cargo delivery, particularly messenger RNA (mRNA) and protein delivery.
Knowledge of the challenges associated with the development and valorization of biotherapeutics.
Knowledge of issues related to technology transfer and collaboration with industrial partners.

Your Work Environment

Working Environment

The position is based within the NABI Laboratory (UMR 8175), in a highly interdisciplinary environment combining fundamental research, bioproduction, biotechnology, innovative technology development, technology transfer, and technology valorization. The successful candidate will work closely with the laboratory's scientific teams, the IVETh platform, the Head of Marketing and Business Development, academic and industrial partners, and the spin-off company Exosiris.
