Missions

The mission consists of assisting users with their computing needs (corpus cleaning, data extraction, etc.) and participating in research projects in the field of natural language processing.

Activities

- IT support and help to users
- Development of NLP tools and experiments (with researchers)
- Monitoring the NLP domain (new software, new developments)
- Transferring applications online, when necessary

Skills

- Good programming experience with Python (and related libraries)
- Good knowledge of machine learning techniques, especially for the NLP domain
- Ability to work independently and in a team

Work Context

Work will take place at Lattice (UMR8094), in Montrouge (Paris area). Lattice is a laboratory with an interdisciplinary backgrounds, ranging from pure linguistics to natural language processing. The successful candidate will have to be able to work with linguists as well as with natural language processing researchers.
