Missions

Fixed-term contract for a researcher within the framework of the ANR Ex-Sov. Design (in conjunction with the ANR ExSov project team) and manage research devices in archives and oral history in the Baltic countries: develop collections of documentation in conjunction with central and regional archive centers; make contact with organizations (museums, universities, associations) working on the collection of interviews or family archives on the history of the Baltic countries (Lithuania, Latvia) since 1939; dissemination work to the public on the progress of the Ex-Sov project; make contact and structure with the target villages of the project.

Activités

Design and manage a research system - Propose an approach adapted to the study objects of the team members - Implement methods or protocols for collecting data or corpus, ensure analysis and interpret the results, format (quantitative, database, mapping) - Coordinate the human, technical and financial resources necessary for the realization of the research project - Promote the achievements and results in the form of scientific publications, reports, oral presentations in connection with the public and the academic world - Design and carry out scientific and methodological monitoring

- Good writing skills - Knowledge of 20th century history (Europe) - Methods and tools in data production (in-depth knowledge) - Professional environment and networks (general knowledge) - Cartography skills - Written and oral presentation techniques - English language: B2 - Russian or German language: B2 - Latvian or Lithuanian language: C1 - Know how to develop collection tools (questionnaires, interviews, case studies, field observations, monographs, etc.) - Know how to locate, list, analyze and critique data (know how to decide on the relevance of data or sources, particularly archival sources) - Write reports or documents - Participation in conferences, congresses and writing articles
