Missions
Conception and realization of a fieldwork within Art-e-Fact research program under the direction of Alice Sophie Sarcinelli ; Production of academic publication and of multimodal documents.
Activities
-Realization of a Case study on the production fo medico-legal documentation of torture through the “Instanbul Protocol” under the form of a multisite ethnographic study
-Production of multimodal documents (texte, fixed images) resulting from the research to be disseminated thourgh the digital library on the Huma-Numa plateform
- Participation to the conception of the digital library on Huma-num plateform to be realized by a intern
- Co-organization together with the project coordinator of 4 “Thinking-Through-Creating Workshops”
Skills
Theoretical and practical compétences in legal and medical anthrology ;
Linguistic competences: fluent in English ; competences in French and in other languages necessary to realize fieldwork in European countries to be determined;
Experience in ethnography of European institutions, with prior knowledge of the field if possible.
Postdoctoral experience of at least 2 years in international projects
Experience of visual and creative practices applied to ethnographic research
Experience with visual methods
Work Context
The projet will be realized within ANR Program Art-e-Fact (Artistic Approaches to Ethnographic Facts on Institutions, https://www.cerlis.eu/anr-art-e-fact/) coordonated by Alice Sophie Sarcinelli - full professor in anthropology at Université Paris Cité et rattachée in the Unité Mixte de Recherche CERLIS). The postdoctoral research will be supervised by Alice Sophie Sarcinelli - full professor in anthropology at Université Paris Cité et rattachée in the Unité Mixte de Recherche CERLIS) and Natacha Collomb (CNRS, IDEAS), responsible of Task n.3 « Fieldworks")
