Job Description
Missions
We are looking for one postdoctoral researcher to join the PEPR Future Networks projects HISEC and FOUNDS. The successful candidate will work with Prof. Arsenia Chorti and will be affiliated with the ICI team at the ETIS laboratory.
Activity
Context : The post concerns the study of source coding for physical layer security. The postdoc will be recruited in the projects HISEC and FOUNDS.
Objectives: The research may combine theoretical and algorithmic approaches and be conducted in the context of wireless networks, the Internet of Things (IoT), distributed learning, or edge computing infrastructures. The research topics may include, but are not limited to:
● the optimization of communications, security, and computation in resource-constrained architectures;
● source coding and information compression, including for authentication;
Research program :
1. Develop source coding solutions for security.
2. In addition, energy efficiency will also be taken into account through multi-objective optimization problems.

Skills
Prerequisites
For this position, applicants should meet the following requirements:
● PhD in Security, or Telecommunications or Networking.
● Excellent academic track record and strong mathematical skills.
● Excellent programming skills.
● Experience in optimization and machine learning.
● Excellent spoken and written English skills.
